About Intermountain Search Dogs

Founded in 2002, Intermountain Search Dogs (ISD) is a non-profit volunteer organization serving Spokane County WA.

The organization works in partnership with and under the authority of the Spokane County Sheriff’s Search and Rescue Program. ISD helps government agencies locate lost or missing persons in wilderness and urban settings.

The current team has 18 active members and 7 certified dogs.

Mission:

To provide highly skilled Navigators and K9 teams as a resource for Search and Rescue missions for Spokane County and the surrounding area. ISD is dedicated to increasing safety and providing educational resources for the population it serves.
